Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club under-11 Azures girls drew 1-1 with Ickenham Youth Eagles.

They created lots of chances from the off and Lilia, Eloise and Orla all had shots well saved by the goalkeeper in the Hertfordshire Girls’ Football Partnership League, Red Division encounter.

Eagles broke the deadlock with a tidy finish after a breakaway, but Azures remained confident and Frankie rattled the crossbar with an attempt from inside her own half.

They eventually equalised through Eloise’s low strike, with Frankie getting the assist, before, in the last seconds, Indi’s corner was turned against the woodwork by a defender.
