Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club under-seven Town gained some great experience by playing a friendly against Peterborough United.

Town travelled to the Sky Bet League One club’s academy for an 80-minute six-a-side contest against their Posh counterparts and lost 12-10.

Player-of-the-match Chloe McClure scored four goals as under-eight girls Cyans beat Chesterton Eagles 5-2 to claim their second win of the season.

She was joined on the score sheet by Ellie-May Piper.

The under-16 girls had to settle for a point as they drew 0-0 at home to Harpenden Jets.

Player-of-the-match Phoebe Edmondson defended superbly and was unlucky not to score when she was denied by a great save.
