Real Stortford Saracens notch nine while Falcons and Bulls suffer contrasting fortunes in seven-goal thrillers

James Baird and Adam Price were at the double as Real Stortford under-17 Saracens went goal crazy with a 9-0 win over Bury Rangers White.

They notched two apiece and were joined on the score sheet by Sam Booker, Ciaran Bridle, Freddie Brown, Rollo Buckley and Josh Chinn.

Isaac Pasetto landed the decisive blow as under-16 Falcons produced a monumental team effort to triumph 4-3 at Ware Youth Lions.

The visitors, who were down to the bare 11 players again, made an excellent start as in-form captain Joe Bright scored direct from a corner and then netted from outside the box.

The Lions managed to level matters before the break and appeared to be making their numbers tell when they went ahead in the second period.

But Falcons showed their resilient nature as Lucas Gribble teed up Luca Chandler to equalise before Seb Smith helped Pasetto grab the winner.

Under-15 Bulls were left heartbroken after a late strike saw them suffer a 4-3 loss at the hands of BSCFC Rovers.

After going 2-0 down early on, Diogo Camara's effort and an own goal saw them equalise before they conceded while down to 10 men following a sin-binning.

Darragh Flood set up Vinnie Doyle to fire in a close-range leveller and man-of-the-match Gavin Gardner produced a stunning save to keep it all square, but he was beaten during a scramble just minutes from the end.
