Bishop’s Stortford Swimming Club achieved an excellent second-place finish in round two of the London National Arena Swimming League, Premier Division.

The team are now in a strong position ahead of December’s final event after a fine showing at the Inspire Luton Sports Village.

Stortford registered 270 points to finish two clear of third-placed Hackney Aquatics Club. Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club A won the round with 343.

“The gala was a testament to the determination and spirit of this incredible team,” said head coach Jamie McLoughlin.

“To finish in second place against such strong opposition is more than just an achievement, it’s a reflection of the hard work and commitment each swimmer has put in.

“Every single swimmer stepped up, delivering personal bests and leaving it all in the pool. I couldn’t be prouder of this team.”
