The academies operate across the UK, with members training weekly and competing regularly in matches against other academies.

At the end of the season, the Talent Academy Cup takes place under the watchful eyes of England selectors.

“We are delighted that so many of our pupils have been selected to join the England Hockey Talent Academy this year and congratulate all of them on this achievement,” said the Maze Green Road school’s director of sport, health and fitness Evan Stewart.

“Each plays regularly at the highest level possible for their age groups and their selection is testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport.”
