Bishop's Stortford College boys' teams crowned Hertfordshire hockey champions and reach regional finals
Bishop's Stortford College's under-11 and under-12 boys have been crowned county champions.
The double triumph came after the under-13s had achieved the same feat before the half-term break.
And all three sides are now preparing to compete in the regional finals later this month.
The U11 A team started their county final against Aldwickbury well, pressing their opponents high and winning the ball in good areas.
They were pegged back after taking an early two-goal lead, but they continued to dominate proceedings and emerged 4-2 winners.
The under-12s excelled in a series of round-robin matches against Hitchin Boys', Merchant Taylors', St Albans and Aldwickbury to also claim the county crown.
"It is a fantastic achievement to have one age group crowned county champions, so to have three is quite remarkable," said acting director of sport Nick Prowse.
"It is testament to the boys' hard work, commitment and dedication at training and the hard work of their coaches. It underlines the college's hockey strength in the county area."
