Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-13 Athletic do the treble
Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club under-13 Athletic completed a magnificent treble by lifting the RCL Subsidiary Cup.
Jake Doree bagged a brace as they defeated Caldecote Youth 4-0 in the final.
The other goals were netted by Luke Ricketts and Harry Walker as Athletic wrapped up a superb campaign.
In the Royston Crow League, Division One play-off final, Athletic produced a commanding performance to triumph 3-0 over a strong St Ives side and claim the league title.
Doree again struck twice and was joined on the score sheet by captain Sean Camp as the side, whose other piece of silverware came in the shape of the Meads Cup, completed another fine achievement.
Continuing the theme of success, the under-14 Eastern Junior Alliance side retained the Hageland Cup.
They travelled to Belgium and triumphed in a competition which included academy sides from the likes of Aston Villa and Luton Town.
And under-11 Blues also took the honours at the City Colts Tournament in Milton Keynes, winning every match and only conceding one goal.
Meanwhile, the under-17 Athletic squad got together to say a fond farewell to Callum Law ahead of his move to Sutton United.
The goalkeeper has secured a scholarship deal with the Vanarama National League club and his team-mates sent him on his way with a signed No 1 shirt.
