Lilly Fach scored twice and was named player of the match as Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-13 girls won 6-0 at Watford Harts.

She opened the scoring in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League, Division Two match with a fine solo effort.

Bonnie Kirby doubled the advantage before half time following good work from Keira Hider, with the latter extending the lead thanks to a great pass from Phoebe Edmondson.

Poppy Dwyer punished a poor goal kick to score Stortford's fourth goal and Fach claimed her second of the game with Aimee Cole providing the assist.

And Dwyer also completed her brace to seal the win when she found herself one on one with the goalkeeper.

All the goals came in the second half as unbeaten under-16 Saints triumphed 3-0 at Ware Lions Black.

The Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Two leaders were unusually shot shy in the first half as they failed to capitalise on lots of possession.

But they made up for lost time when Alfie Smith robbed a defender and found the net inside the opening minute of the second period.

Smith notched again following a jinking run and, after George Hibbert, Zen Rapley and Sid Clark were all denied by the woodwork, a defender headed into his own net from Tommy Glover's free kick.

The Saints' defence was rarely troubled, largely thanks to a faultless performance from man-of-the-match Jake Painter.

Austin Hawkes' stunning free kick set under-15 Rangers on their way to a 4-2 win at Sawbridgeworth Town in Royston Crow League, Division Two. He was joined on the score sheet by Lucas Dordoy, Joshua French and George Edwards.

Callum Castle bagged a second-half hat-trick as under-14 United came from behind to beat Frontiers 4-1 in the MHRML League Cup. Charlie Sacco, who converted Jude Xavier's cross from close range, also scored as the hosts controlled the second period, with Freddie Higgs and Rocco Zuccarello also posing a real threat.

There were plenty of positives for the under-14 girls to take from a 4-1 defeat to Garston in HGFPL Division Two. Anna Baros got their goal from a corner while Amy Lenihan was denied by the post as a number of players put in season-best performances.

Under-12 United earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Rap Aid in the MHRML Premier Division. Winger Oliver Millar scored midway through the first half while Reggie Barker was particularly impressive in the back three.
