Farnham beat Nazeing Common by 10 runs to retain the Tees Herts & Essex Border League Cup

Farnham successfully defended the Tees Herts & Essex Border League Cup thanks to a 10-run win over Nazeing Common at Hockerill.

They made it back-to-back victories at finals day having also tasted success in last season's final against Matching Green.

Farnham won the toss and elected to bat last Thursday (July 21), but had to settle for 115-9 from their 20 overs.

Tom Baucher made 25, Ollie Radley compiled a run-a-ball 33 and Ollie Stigwood blasted 14 not out off just five balls.

Nazeing Common went close in reply as Josh Stevens (27 not out) and Michael Blair (24) top scored, but they closed on 105-7 with two wickets apiece for Austin Osbourne, Stigwood and Ben Law.
