Felsted School student Gus Burton and Century Motorsport team-mate Will Burns win Intelligent Money British GT4 Championship




Gus Burton hailed a "phenomenal team effort" after winning the Intelligent Money British GT4 Championship.

The Felsted School student and his Century Motorsport team-mate Will Burns were crowned champions following their success in race two at a wet Oulton Park in Cheshire.

Burton, 18, who drives a BMW M4 GT4, and Burton secured the title with a race weekend to spare ahead of the action at Donington Park on October 17.

"My thanks to BMW Motorsport and Century Motorsport for providing such a well-balanced car which gives us, as drivers, the confidence to perform to the highest standard," said Burton, who is an ambassador for charity Sparkle Malawi.

"My special praise is reserved for my co-driver, Will Burns, who's done a sterling job all season. All in all, it's been a phenomenal team effort, winning three and securing six podiums from eight races."
