Takeley-based 2Aim4 Lions beat BSCFC Rangers to lift the Brentwood Community Football Alliance Under-nine League Cup at the end of their first full season as a team.

Top scorer Finley Walker, Rory Yeates, Frankie Kember and Seb Marshall got among the goals for 2Aim4 while Stortford's No 12 Alex scored the goals for his side at Basildon Town.

There were also excellent performances for 2Aim4 from the likes of Dexter Paterson, Max Jones, Ethan Munday, Jacob Hampton and Tucker Woodward.

All of the players came together at the final whistle to congratulate each other in a great display of sportsmanship before the medals were handed out and 2Aim4 captain Marie Adams raised the trophy.

"I'm incredibly proud of these kids in their first full season as a team," said 2Aim4 coach Jill Bartholomew. "Seeing the delight on all their faces has made my season."
