LEARN MOREAlyson Fordham was a record breaker as Bishop's Stortford Swimming Club members bagged eight gold medals at the Swim England East Region Masters Championships.
She triumphed in the 50m and 100m freestyle races in her 65-69 age category at Newmarket Leisure Centre.
And her time of 32.82sec in the 50m free smashed the East region record by five seconds and was just 0.4sec short of the British record.
There were three golds for Pete Kelleway in the 60-64 age group thanks to excellent performances in the 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle and 100m individual medley (IM).
Lizzie Bellinger (40-44) won the 100m butterfly and 100m IM while Eleanor Mason (18-24) took gold in the 400m freestyle.
