Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club quartet triumph in tournament

It was celebration time for four Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club sides when they hosted a tournament at the weekend.

Under-nine Athletic, under-10 Town, under-11 Rangers and under-12 Town all bagged trophies after excellent performances.

The teams successfully navigated their way through their respective group stages before triumphing in semi-finals and finals.

BSCFC are now looking for new players to come along and take part in their open training sessions during the summer ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, with all abilities welcome.

Sessions take place for all sections of the club: boys and girls from under-seven to under-10; boys from under-11 to under-18; the Eastern Junior Alliance squad from under-14 to under-16; girls in Years 4 to 9 (from September) and current Years 10 to 12; men; ladies; the academy scholar programme; and the Enfield FC squad, who play in the Essex Senior League.
