Thorley Manor Football Club round-up: Under-14s record first win of the season

Thorley Manor under-14s beat Stevenage Borough Blues 2-1 as they claimed their first win of the season.

They produced a solid team performance and were up for the battle as both sides carved out chances.

Cooper Morris was among the goals as the under-13s also put on a good display, but they were unable to overcome a strong Melbourn Dynamos side.

Oliver Bryant and Thomas Cunningham were on the score sheet in the under-12s' game against Bishop's Stortford Swifts Reds while goalkeeper Will made some good saves when under-12 Black produced their best performance of the season against Morden Magpies.

The under-11s were unable to take their chances when they took on Biggleswade Town Sandpipers while under-11 Black fought bravely against Broadhall Youth.

There were lots of positives for the under-10s when they battled it out with BSCFC Blues.

Louis and Archie showed their finishing skills, Alfie made some great tackles at the back and goalkeeper Aron was excellent between the sticks.

Alex, William and Kieran found the back of the net for under-nine Orange away to Shephall United Orange while under-eight Black passed the ball well and scored some nice goals against Stevenage Borough.
