Great Hadham Country Club seniors’ section raises £6,878 for St Clare Hospice at charity golf day




Reg and Wendy Malins teamed up with George Davison and Jan Zelezinski to win the overall competition when Great Hadham County Club’s seniors’ section held their annual charity golf day.

They triumphed with a stableford score of 123 points ahead of John Waters, Peter Waters, David Grainge and Paul Burrell, who scored 121.

There was a field of 30 teams for the 18-hole event, with the rounds being completed in just over four hours.

The raffle, auction and other activities raised £6,878.33 for St Clare Hospice, with the charity’s Nancy Hynes giving a moving talk about the services it provides.
