Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-sevens enter tournament at Premier League side West Ham United's training ground

Max Foster struck the winner as Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-12 United beat Parsloe Athletic in a seven-goal thriller.

He got the Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Premier Division contest's decisive goal in the second half as United triumphed 4-3.

All of the other goals came in the first period, with Sam Braund netting twice and Jamie Fordham also scoring against their Harlow-based opponents.

Man-of-the-match Charlie Fisher got the ball rolling for under-18 Rovers in their 3-0 success at Ware Blues in Division Two.

He broke the deadlock with a powerful free kick through a crowded box to give his side a one-goal advantage at the break.

The visitors doubled their lead when Will Thacker, who had been found by Adam Blair-Park from a set piece, fired low and hard into the bottom corner.

Blair-Park was again the creator for the third goal as, having been picked out by goalkeeper Monty Lawrence, he sent in a low cross that Jack Baros volleyed home.

Poppy Dwyer claimed a hat-trick as the under-13 girls beat Watford 8-2 in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League.

Carolina Garcia put them ahead, but it was all square at the break with Alexa Baker's fine goal being ruled out for offside.

After Keira Hider restored the lead, player-of-the-match Dwyer scored the goal of the game with a 20-yard chip over the goalkeeper before going on to complete her treble.

Efforts from Remi Hasty and Tilly-Mae Maguire-White, along with an own goal, completed the emphatic win, although their opponents did muster a late consolation.

Stand-in goalkeepers Lola Anderson and Amber Owen produced some fine saves as the under-14 girls gave everything in a 6-2 defeat to Berkhamsted Raiders in the HGFPL.

Their goals were scored by Anna Baros, who found the net with her left foot from a tight angle following Isabelle Berry's corner, and Amy Lenihan, who coolly slotted past the goalkeeper.

An under-strength under-14 United saw their two-year unbeaten league run ended in a 4-1 loss at Wodson Park.

They trailed by two goals at the break, despite some outstanding defending by Charlie Sacco in an unfamiliar left-back role, in what was their first match in the MHRML Premier Division.

An energised United were rewarded with a goal from Callum Castle after the break before they conceded two further late goals.

REAL STORTFORD

Isaac Pasetto scored a goal, created another and was named man of the match as Real Stortford under-17 Falcons won 3-0 at home to FC Comets.

The team were a joy to watch thanks to some fluid attacking play and organised defending in the Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Under-18 Division Four contest.

Pasetto opened the scoring midway through the first half when, after some sustained pressure, he found the net with a first-time effort from 25 yards.

After the break, Pasetto turned provider when Daniel Alaezi chested down his fine cross and fired home.

And Alaezi completed a brace late on after being set up by Aaron Spencer, who impressed alongside fellow debutants TJ Popo and Billy McLeod.

An under-strength under-16 Bulls produced a resilient display in a narrow 1-0 defeat at Whitewebbs Eagles in Division Three.

Jake Foster was man of the match as the side performed admirably despite missing their usual goalkeeper and two centre-backs.

Meanwhile, Real Stortford Men saw their East Herts Corinthian Sunday League match abandoned after opponents SC FC failed to reappear for the second half.

Real were 6-0 to the good against the 10-man visitors thanks to a hat-trick from man-of-the-match Jack Stewart and efforts from Kai Campbell, Charlie Kettle and Jojo Senior.
