Bishop’s Stortford College under-13 girls crowned Independent Association of Prep Schools regional netball champions




Bishop’s Stortford College under-13 girls have been crowned Independent Association of Prep Schools regional netball champions.

They are now preparing to compete in the national finals at Millfield School in Somerset on March 19.

The team won all nine of their matches in Ipswich as they stormed the tournament, with victories of 21-1, 21-2 and 19-0 being secured.

They took on Hertfordshire rivals Heath Mount School in the final and triumphed 12-6.

“This is a superb victory for our under-13s of whom we are immensely proud,” said the college’s director of sport, health and fitness Evan Stewart.

“The results of the competition are not only testament to their hard work and skill, but also to our outstanding coaching staff who have supported them this season.

“We look forward to watching the team progress throughout the term and have our sights now firmly set on the national finals in March.”
