Austin Hawkes scored a five-minute hat-trick as Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-15 Rangers stormed to an 8-2 success at St Ives Rangers Red Sox in Royston Crow League, Division Two.

The visitors led 4-0 at the break thanks to early goals from Omar Sain and Kade Smith and a brace for Lucas Dordoy.

Hawkes then took charge and netted three times in quick succession before the hosts pulled a goal back.

Jack Farley notched with a great back-post header to claim Rangers' eighth goal of the game and the home side got another consolation following a mistake.

Florian Ward bagged a brace as under-13 Rovers registered an emphatic 6-0 win against RCL Division Four promotion rivals Codicote Wildcats.

They were 2-0 up at the break as Henry Allen struck following excellent play by Jayden Bahra and Freddy Hayden-Hammett found the top corner with a spectacular 30-yard free kick.

Ward broke away to get his side's all-important third goal just when Codicote were starting to cause them a few problems.

Opposition heads dropped after that as Ward scored again and Bahra and Daniel Williamson added their names to the score sheet with tidy finishes.

And Alex Giron got the only goal of a hard-fought semi-final as under-nine Rangers triumphed 1-0 over Hutton Yellow to reach a cup final.
