Bishop’s Stortford Swifts under-12s go top with 4-0 win over Collier Row

Bishop’s Stortford Swifts under-12s played some mesmerising football as they beat Collier Row 4-0 to go top of the league.

Jasper converted a corner with his weaker right foot to put the visitors ahead at the break before completing his brace after the restart.

Louis scored a penalty and Xander notched in a scramble to complete the victory while stand-in goalkeeper Albie was solid and Alfie C had a storming game in an unfamiliar centre-back role.

Meanwhile, Hugo found the back of the net as Forest Hall Park under-14s gave a spirited performance in a 3-1 defeat to Baldock Town.

They were able to equalise and worked really hard with a player less due to availability issues.
