Finley Maddison got his hands on the player-of-the-match trophy after scoring a hat-trick for Thorley Manor under-11 Black against Hitchin Town.

He also showed an outstanding work ethic as the whole team had to really battle on a muddy pitch that resembled a ploughed field.

The under-13s celebrated a big victory as they saw off Bedwell Rangers Hurricanes 10-0.

The under-12s produced their best performance of the season against Hitchin Town despite having the bare minimum of nine players.

The difference between the teams proved to be a cross from Oliver Bryant that was deflected into his own net by a defender.

Exceptional passing, movement and pressing ensured under-12 Black impressed against BSCFC Stripes.

They came to life after going a goal behind and put in a performance to be proud of, with goalkeeper Will commanding his area expertly.

Under-nine Black fought hard from start to finish in a very competitive match against Manuden Tornadoes.

They put together some nice passing moves with Harrison's great diagonal pass being converted well by Joshua.
