SWAN Netball Club is holding extra Back2Netball and walking netball sessions to meet demand.

Back2Netball allows those who may have last played netball some years ago or who are complete beginners to get into the game, while walking netball is for people who want to take part in a slower-paced version.

The new Back2Netball session is at the Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre in Stansted on Thursday evenings, adding to one at Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden on Friday mornings.

Walking netball takes place at the Herts and Essex Sports Centre in Beldams Lane, Bishop's Stortford, on Wednesday mornings and at Lord Butler on Friday mornings.

"We were getting a lot of enquiries from ladies looking for an evening session that could fit around work and childcare commitments, so we were delighted to be able to work with 1Life to get some regular court space at the Mountfitchet Romeera Leisure Centre," said SWAN coach and chair Paula Evans. "We've had a huge turnout for our first two sessions."
