Joe Newman hit a hat-trick as a makeshift Thorley Manor under-12s side produced a solid performance against Melbourn Dynamos Tigers.

His treble, along with some great midfield play by Will and Ronnie, helped to make the difference.

The under-11s showed off their excellent passing in a close encounter with Letchworth Garden City Eagles.

Oscar and Ellis received some great through balls to chase in the first period before the team battled hard to deal with counter-attacks in the second half.

Under-11 Black produced some fine attacking moves and created numerous chances when they met Manuden Bees, with the opposition goalkeeper being forced into some great saves.

And the under-10s had a never-say-die attitude in their game with Bedwell Rangers as they scored some good goals from corners.
