Stortford, who are coached by Annica Farley, took an early lead against the Falcons, but were unable to sustain it and lost by a single goal.

The game against the Eagles was played at a faster pace and, with only one substitute, the Stortford players only had a minute or so on the bench to recover before re-entering the fray, but they had enough in the locker to triumph.

Pakala’s goals in the first fixture were added to by Sophie James, who got a brace, Kayleigh Schollhammer and Helena Sriskanthan-Reksa.
