Former Georgia Revolution and AFC Sudbury midfielder Oliver Peters signs for Isthmian Premier side Bishop's Stortford

New signing Oliver Peters could make his Bishop's Stortford debut when they entertain East Thurrock United tomorrow (January 22).

The midfielder, who has been training with the Blues in recent weeks, has most recently been in America playing for Georgia Revolution where he was named their 2021 National Premier Soccer League player of the year.

And he is now officially a member of Steve Smith's squad and may feature against the Pitching In Isthmian League, Premier Division strugglers at the R&D Advisors UK Stadium.

Peters is no stranger to this level of football having come through the ranks at AFC Sudbury and also had a spell with Hadleigh United.

Steve Smith's men, who are fourth in the table, go into tomorrow's contest on the back of a convincing 5-0 home victory over Brightlingsea Regent.
