Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-12 United thrash Ware Clarets in Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Two

Charlie Sacco struck four times as Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-12 United demolished Ware Clarets 12-0 in Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Two.

The leaders made a fast start against their third-placed rivals and were 3-0 up after just 15 minutes as Finley Fraser, Luca Barnes and Sacco netted.

United continued to play at a relentless pace and Sacco completed his hat-trick before half time.

More excellent play and outstanding pace on the break meant the goals continued to flow in the second period.

Freddie Higgs got a brace, Sacco notched again, Fraser completed his treble and there were great finishes from Hadley Connolly and Callum Castle.

Under-16 Rovers triumphed 7-3 at Stevenage Borough Falcons to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in MHRML Division One.

They fell behind to an early penalty but it was no surprise when Adam Blair-Park scored a good individual goal to equalise.

Sam Byrne put Rovers ahead with a shot into the bottom corner before Will Hall got on the end of Blair-Park's cross to volley home for a 3-1 lead at the break.

Hall returned the favour after the restart with a long free kick that Blair-Park swept in from close range.

And Hall bagged his second goal of the game from the edge of the box after the Falcons had pulled one back.

Hall was denied a hat-trick when the goalkeeper brilliantly saved his effort, but Byrne was on hand to slot in the rebound.

Man of the match Blair-Park completed the win over the Falcons, who did get a third goal, as he made it a hat-trick from Hall's unselfish pass.

In Division Two, Bryn Conboy got the winner as under-16 United defeated Welwyn Garden City Cyclones 3-2.

The visitors scored from their first corner after their goalkeeper had made three good early saves, but Marcin Matys beat three defenders before smashing the ball into the top corner to claim a brilliant equaliser.

Matys set up Andrew Bamba to put United ahead before Cyclones scored from another corner to make it all square.

However, United had the final word as Gardiner Mitchell's header header from Ben Isard's corner hit the post and Conboy buried the loose ball.

Jake Doree and AJ Chapman both hit hat-tricks to guide under-14 Athletic to a thumping 8-0 win at Bedwell Rangers Impact.

Ant Croydon and Sean Camp were also on target as their side maintained their 100% record in Royston Crow League, Division One.

There was also a good 5-2 victory for under-14 United over Bedwell Rangers Galaxy in Division Two as William Balado's treble was added to by Joseph Haslam and Daniel White.

Captain Frank Partridge hit a last-minute winner as under-10 Wanderers beat Norseman Blues 3-1 to reach the MHRML Cup (Red) quarter-finals.

Donal O'Connor put the hosts ahead at Grange Paddocks before the Edmonton-based visitors equalised and will feel they should have been in front at the break.

O'Connor stole in to put Wanderers ahead after the interval and skipper Partridge fired in a long-range free kick at the death to complete a battling win.

Danny King produced a man-of-the-match performance up front.

Under-10 Town were also 3-1 winners when they took on Ware Blues to advance to the last eight of the MHRML Cup (Orange).

Town made the perfect start as they won possession straight from kick off and Charlie Regoli slotted in with his left foot from Fergus Kirby's fine pass.

After the break, Kirby went on a mazy run before doubling his team's lead with a fizzing drive into the bottom corner.

Ware pulled one back with 10 minutes remaining, but Regoli made sure it was Town's day by nodding in from George Boon's corner.
