Sam Ranford's long-range stunner capped a 5-1 derby victory for Real Stortford under-16 Bulls over BSCFC United.

The man of the match picked up the ball and went past an opponent before finding the net from 25 yards to wrap up the points in the Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Three contest.

Ashley Elgar opened the scoring and then saw his cross turned in for an own goal before Charlie Baker's fine solo effort and Lesharn McManus-O'Connell's second strike from distance in as many weeks put Bulls 4-0 up.

United pulled a goal back, but Bulls pressed on and Ranford put the icing on the cake after Charlie Sloan had gone close with a spectacular overhead kick and a volley.

Sam Booker hit a hat-trick as under-18 Saracens triumphed 8-0 at Letchworth Garden City Eagles White in Division Five.

Finn Aylott struck twice for the visitors, who maintained their 100% record, and was joined on the score sheet by Freddie Brown, Josh Chinn and Connor Woods.

A first-half treble from Daniel Alaezi was only worth a point as under-17 Falcons let a three-goal lead slip in a 3-3 home draw with Ware Lions Black in Division Four.

A combination of a bit of complacency, rotation of the squad to get all five substitutes some playing time and their opponents' reorganisation contributed to a strong second half from the Lions.

Real Stortford Men scored three equalisers as they also drew 3-3 at Troll Campbell in East Herts Corinthian Sunday League, Division Four.

Jake Morley headed in Jojo Senior's corner, Jack Stewart fired in a 25-yard thunderbolt after being teed up by captain Aaron Bonney and Morley netted another header from Harry Bovington's long throw.

In a barnstorming finish, Aaron Cameron-Prior had a fine strike disallowed for offside and Bovington saw a great shot deflected inches away from goal. Debutant Michael Gardiner was man of the match.
