It was a game of two halves when under-11 Black took on Fairlands.

They found it difficult to get out from goal kicks in the first period, but they woke up after the break and camped themselves in the opposition half.

Noah Sambridge earned the man-of-the-match plaudits for a battling display in midfield and a great long-range goal.

The under-14s played some possession-based football in bad weather to record a 7-2 victory over Wymondley Park.

The pace of their attacks proved too much for their opponents and they were 4-0 up inside 15 minutes before adding further goals after the break.

The under-13s caught the eye with a great team performance against Stotfold Black.

Good passing and hard work led to them scoring some excellent goals as they maintained their momentum.

And under-eight Black and under-eight White continued their development with impressive passing and teamwork in their latest matches, with their awareness of positions and situations getting better.
