Sawbridgeworth Bowls Club ladies win Challenge Cup and reach last 16 of National Top Club tournament

Sawbridgeworth's ladies won their derby contest with Bishop's Stortford to lift the Challenge Cup.

Hot on the heels of their success in the National Top Club tournament, the side triumphed in the four-discipline event which took place on a neutral green at Rosehill Bowls Club.

In the Top Club event they beat Herts (Watford) Bowls Club 2½-1½ to be crowned Hertfordshire winners and reach the last 16 for the first time in their history.
