Six changes to Bishop's Stortford side for National League 1 match at leaders Richmond

Bishop's Stortford will look to bounce back from a 30-17 home defeat to Chinnor when they visit leaders Richmond tomorrow (January 25).

Director of rugby Andy Long saw his team's five-game winning streak at Silver Leys ended at the weekend.

They now travel to the National League 1 table-toppers Richmond, who have won six matches in a row.

Speaking after the Chinnor defeat, Long said: "The boys gave it their all, but we didn't really have a platform to work from. We threw everything at it towards the end, but it wasn't to be."

Stortford captain Sam Winter (head) and Baxter Wilson (knee) were both injured against Chinnor and tomorrow's side shows six changes.

As well as Winter and Wilson, Louis Castiglione, Harrison King and Seb Brownhill miss out while Tom Banks drops to the bench.

Coming in are Chris Smith, Al Gliksten, JP Nel, Tom Petty, Tom McCrone and Luis Ball.

"It won't be the first time we've gone to a ground as massive underdogs, but these are the challenges we like to face," said Long, whose side only lost 18-17 when they hosted Richmond earlier in the season.

"We'll look to play rugby the way we want to and if we can do that then it will put us in a good position."
