Bishop's Stortford look to end two-game losing run at home to Rotherham in National League 1

Marcus Cattell is hoping a big home crowd can cheer Bishop's Stortford on to victory when they host Rotherham in National League 1 this Saturday (3pm).

The defence coach was disappointed to see Stortford lose a close game at Cinderford 18-13 at the weekend, although Brad Burr's late penalty did earn them a losing bonus point.

And after losing back-to-back away games, the team are aiming to rediscover the feelgood factor against a Rotherham side currently occupying the final relegation place.

"We did get a bonus point but it was disappointing to lose as we played well," said Cattell. "It came down to fine margins.

"Cinderford are tough boys and they defended for their lives, as did we, but they probably took their chances better than we did.

"We've been away two weeks in a row so it will be nice to get back home and hopefully have good home support behind us.

"If we play well then I think we can put ourselves in a good position to win the game."
