Takeley picked up a point when they drew 1-1 at Woodford Town in the Essex Senior League, Premier Division on Friday night (November 17).
The visitors, who are fourth from bottom, took a 32nd-minute lead through Bobby Bolden.
But the third-placed hosts levelled matters after the break to ensure it ended honours even.

The mid-table hosts went ahead in the 11th minute through Max Kyte before Daniel Creese broke the offside trap to double their lead eight minutes later.
Jaydon Charles pulled a goal back for the Robins before half time and the home side had last-man Alex Lee sent off after the break.
But Kyte restored the Lions’ two-goal advantage and Billy Wise’s added-time effort was just a consolation for the visitors.
The Robins went into the contest having been knocked out of the Gladwish Challenge Trophy on penalties at Dunstable Town last Tuesday (November 14).
Wise cancelled out Danny Webb’s strike in added time for the away side as the tie ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, but the hosts prevailed 4-3 in the shootout.
