Thorley Manor under-12s' dominant display earned them a 3-1 win at Buntingford Cougars Stripes.
Thomas Hughes scored on his debut before penalties were converted by Oliver Bryant and William Joyner.
Under-12 Blacks had a convincing win over BSCFC Stripes, with the pick of their goals being Kayaan's wonder strike and Olly's deft chip over the goalkeeper.
The under-14s produced a valiant effort in a defeat to BSCFC Wanderers while the under-13s gave absolutely everything when losing to BSCFC Rovers.
Under-11 Whites took plenty of positives from their clash with Manuden Bees under-10s and under-11 Blacks scored a goal against the miserly Shefford Saints.
The under-10s gave a good account of themselves before tiring in the heat against a physical Stotfold Reds.
Kieran bagged a brace as under-nine Oranges looked sharp in their match at Hitchin Comets while under-nine Blacks – for whom half of the players were tasting competitive action for the first time – showed real potential and scored through Reggie and Joshua against Shefford Saints.
And the new under-eight Whites showed real enthusiasm and celebrated four goals when they took on Royston Town Eagles.
