Samuel hit a hat-trick as Thorley Manor under-eight Orange produced a good performance against Royston Town.

Some wonderful passing and movement led to some excellent goals while the woodwork was struck on several occasions.

Player-of-the-match Ted got a goal and some assists while captain Oscar led by example.

There were also energetic displays from Seb, Henry and William while goalkeeper Abel was faultless.

Rex and George were on target as under-eight Grey created lots of chances against FC Biggleswade.

Marley and Jonah were denied by the frame of the goal and the opposition goalkeeper made some fine saves.

Grey shot-stopper Albie also produced some important saves while Harvey made some vital tackles.

Jesse, Oscar and Charlie added to an own goal when under-10 Black took on Bedwell Rangers Galaxy.

The team improved hugely in the second half and there were decent performances from the likes of Callan and Isaac.
