Thorley Manor under-11 Black impress in new kit sponsored by City Fish Brokers
Jack and Josh scored some special goals as Thorley Manor under-11 Black impressed in their new kit against Buntingford Stripes.
Buntingford had more of the ball, but Thorley Manor counter-attacked well and were clinical in front of goal.
Jack scored with a hooked over-head effort that looped over everyone into the corner and Josh found the top corner with a powerful half-volley following a great run.
The team, who have worked hard to stay together having only been formed last summer, are now sponsored by City Fish Brokers.
Kayaan Malik scored seven goals and Toby Doble got six as under-15 Black thumped Bury Rangers Red 14-2.
The two strikers stole the show but the whole team performed well and did not take their foot off the gas.
Rex bagged a brace and Jackson Page also netted as under-14 Orange beat Harlow Tekkers Jackals 3-0.
Freddie Rice was named player of the match while their opponents failed to register a shot.
Joshua Duncan got a late winner to ensure under-12 Orange came from behind to beat UPFC 2-1.
He notched with a great turn and finish after Alex Payne had equalised.
Leo Ingle claimed the player-of-the-match award for continuing to improve and showing real determination in under-nine White’s match with Risden Wood.
Bob was under-eight Black’s standout performer as he hit a hat-trick against Cuffley.
Also on target in the clinical display were Harry and Jude.
Under-eight Orange met under-eight Grey as they took the opportunity to play their first seven-a-side fixture.
The players did well on the bigger pitch as they used the extra space and looked to create from the back.
