Thorley Manor under-eight Black gain brilliant experience by taking on Cambridge United
Thorley Manor under-eight Black gained some brilliant experience when they took on a Cambridge United team in a friendly.
They gave a really good account of themselves in the floodlit-contest as they played some positive football against some very quick and solid players.
Under-eight Black also scored lots of goals when they took on Hertford Town Harts.
Bobby led the way with four, Harry got a hat-trick and player-of-the-match Jude claimed a brace.
Rex got a treble for under-eight Grey against Stotfold Yellow and there were also three goals for Ted, along with goals for Jacob and Oscar, when under-eight Orange met Fairlands.
The hat-trick theme continued as player-of-the-match Adrian got one to help under-nine White beat The Game Group while Elliott made some outstanding saves.
Player-of-the-match Ralph bagged a brace and was joined on target by Jackson in under-10 Orange’s game with Biggleswade Kites Red.
Charlie’s two goals were added to by Callan, Jesse and Oscar for under-10 Black against Royston Town Eagles.
Bobbi’s two strikes helped under-11 Black win their first cup match against SSFC Eagles while Alex Silva and Joshua Duncan notched when under-12 Orange saw off Stevenage Borough Hurricanes in the cup.
Charlie claimed a last-minute equaliser for under-14 White against Pro Academy Girls under-15s while a 5-3 win over Welwyn Pegasus Cyans kept under-15 Grey top of the league.
