Thorley Manor under-15 Black won 4-3 at Letchworth Garden City Eagles Black to be crowned Royston Crow League, Division Two champions.

The thrilling victory, achieved with some nice football and lots of battling, ensured they made it back-to-back titles.

Player-of-the-match Alfie grabbed the winner as the under-12s got the better of Bedwell Rangers Palmeiras 2-1.

Wilf put them ahead after some quick thinking from Archie before their opponents levelled matters.

Two excellent tackles by Jayden helped to keep it all square before Alfie got the game’s decisive third goal.

Jack Court bagged a brace and Lucas Burford also notched as under-10 White put in a good performance against Baldock Town Knights.

Under-10 Black got their reward with two fine goals in a boisterous encounter with Shefford Saints Whites.

Under-nine Orange had to settle for one goal in a game with Biggleswade United Red that was actually packed with chances while under-nine Black gained more experience in a messy game against Lea Sports Reds.

Every player had a key role in under-seven Black’s good display against Biggleswade Town Waders as they created numerous opportunities and performed with real determination.
