Real Stortford under-18 Saracens blew away Lemsford Pumas as they triumphed 7-3 to maintain their 100% start to the season in Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Five.

The hosts, who had the bare 11 players, were 2-1 up at the break thanks to goals from Josh Chinn and Finn Aylott.

Adam Price put them further ahead, but conceding two sloppy goals allowed the Pumas to make it all square.

Saracens were stung into action and ended up being comfortable winners as Sam Booker volleyed into the top corner before Aylott, who completed his fourth brace in as many games, Chinn and Price all doubled their tallies.

Under-17 Falcons also kept up their unbeaten run with a battling 3-1 win at Broxbourne Borough Whites in Division Four.

The visitors let their football do the talking as Daniel Alaezi scored twice and Aaron Spencer also found the back of the net.

Under-16 Bulls were on the receiving end of some strong-arm tactics as they suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Risden Wood in Division Three.

They responded well to going behind and were level at the break as Ashley Elgar netted.

Bulls, who were missing a number of key players, took the lead after the interval when Elgar turned provider and man-of-the-match Vincent Doyle scored with a fine lob from outside the box.

But the physical visitors wore them down and, with the game stretched, scored three times in the final 20 minutes to condemn the Bulls to an unlucky defeat.
