Bishop's Stortford Community Football Club under-14 girls see off Bury Rangers

Iz Tingley bagged a brace as Bishop’s Stortford Community Football Club under-14 girls recorded a fine 4-0 win at Bury Rangers in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League.

Alice Ashman added a poacher’s goal and Molly Wilkerson scored from the penalty spot in a game which both teams played with
ten players.

Under-15 Rovers secured a 3-1 away victory in Group A of the Intermediate Supplementary Cup at Letchworth Garden City Eagles Black.

Man of the match Cameron Street teed up Jack Baros for the opener, before Ben Jones, who put in a number of fine crosses, saw the ball turned into the net by a Letchworth defender from his corner.

The hosts did pull a goal back, but Bryn Henriques sealed the win after good play from Billy Martin and Sam Byrne.

Ben Smith scored twice and Joseph Nardelli got the winner as under-13 EJA beat Cambridge City 3-2 to keep their Eastern Junior Alliance title hopes alive.

Elijah Young-Harry was man of the match as under-12 Wanderers played extremely well with only nine players to draw 0-0 at league leaders Shephall United.

Meanwhile, Thorley Manor under-eight Black dominated in their latest contest.

Finley Maddison and Noah Sambridge shared the majority of the goals as the team were able to capitalise on most of their chances.

Ellis Parker, Adam Reed, Ethan Pettit and Kyle Holland earned special mentions for their hard work.

Under-nine Black had a tough test when they visited a strong Buntingford side.

Man of the match Finn linked up well with Harry late on to score his second goal of the game.

The other under-nine team were comfortably beaten by Broadhall, but they passed and moved well and just needed to find a better final ball.
