Bishop's Stortford Swifts under-10s enjoyed a memorable day out when they were the special guests at Sky Bet League Two side Swindon Town.

They travelled to Wiltshire to take on the fourth-tier club's elite academy side on Easter Monday after receiving an invite thanks to their recent good form and results in the Brentwood Alliance Youth League.

And they then got to watch Swindon take on Leyton Orient in a league game at the County Ground which finished 2-1 to the visitors.

The day's events were facilitated by the Stortford-based former Swindon coach and ex-O's boss Ross Embleton.

Swifts matched their organised opponents in a hard-fought first period and were unlucky not to break the deadlock when Mac Jaggers' shot from outside the area cannoned back off the bar.

The visitors kept their heads after falling behind in the second half and equalised through George Trant's excellent strike.

Oliver Embleton then put Swifts in front by rounding off a superb team move, but they conceded an injury-time leveller as it finished 2-2.
