Help raise funds to get Pro-Karate Academy students to World Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships in Italy
Three Pro-Karate Academy members are looking forward to representing England at the 13th World Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships.
Nada Wegrzyn, Talia Nardelli and Annabel Changer have all been named in the squad for October’s event in Italy.
And the trio are aiming to raise the funds they need - expected to be at least £800 each - to cover travel, accommodation and kit.
The England Karate Federation have selected one karateka per category to compete in Jesolo, Venice.
Wegrzyn, 14, will compete in kata in the cadet category. She is the current England champion and showed her precision, power and polish at a recent youth league competition in Croatia by registering outstanding scores.
Changer, also 14, has been selected in the cadet kumite category. She will be picking up her first England cap after enjoying national success this year.
Sixteen-year-old Nardelli, who is the current English and British champion in her weight category, will be winning her second England cap as she moves up to the junior age category (16-18).
