Bishop’s Stortford Futsal Club under-15s and under-13s reach Youth Futsal League finals

Bishop’s Stortford Futsal Club’s under-15s and under-13s reached finals in the Youth Futsal League.

Both teams played up a year and showcased their skill, determination and resilience against older opponents.

The under-15s took on a formidable A-Star under-16 team, from Milton Keynes, in their final and went down 11-2.

They struggled to find their rhythm in the contest, but fought hard until the end and worked the opposition goalkeeper on numerous occasions.

The squad comprised Patrick, Torin, Ivalyo, Eddy, Hayden, Elliot, Jake, Thomas and Harrsion.

Some clinical finishing from Johnny and key saves by Maks were the highlights when the under-13s lost 7-3 to Chiltern under-14s.

Stortford made a positive start to the match, but their opponents’ physicality proved decisive.

Representing the team were Will, Nick, Noah, Leo, Johnny, Maks, Ollie and Remy.
