Audley End Miniature Railway: Prepare for spooky fang-tastic fun on board the Hallowe’en Express

A host of frighteningly fang-tastic Hallowe’en treats are on offer on board Audley End Miniature Railway’s spooky train.

Children can ride the Hallowe’en Express deep into the woods, where cackling witches will be chanting spells and creepy goings-on will delight families with little ones.

The spooktacular runs this half term until October 31. Entry includes the train ride to meet Belinda the Potion Witch, William the Magician, access to the Adventure Play Area and a free gift for every child.

Said a spokesperson for Audley End Miniature Railway: “The wicked witches and their playful friends will entertain you as your train arrives at their Scare School. You’ll find them cackling and chanting spells around their cauldrons, teaching you all how to trick and treat.

“Make sure you join in while they dance, or they might cast a spell on you!”

The Hallowe’en entertainment continues on the return from the spooky train ride where families can visit Belinda the Witch in Fulfen Forest and children can create their own spell bag; venture into the Enchanted Fairy and Elf walk to spot what each miniature fairy is up to; and join in with William the Magician at his interactive stage show.

“Devilishly delicious food and drink will be available at the café to refresh even the hungriest witches and ghouls. The Audley End witches do love seeing you kitted out in your spooky finery – so make sure you dress to scare!” said the spokesperson.

“The Hallowe’en spooktacular is spooky but never scary and therefore suitable for even the smallest of monsters. The later trains in the day benefit from enjoying the site adorned with lights.”

To book tickets – priced £17 per person, £8.50 for children under 92cm and free for under ones and their carers – visit www.audley-end-railway.co.uk.
