Easter is fast approaching and South Mill Arts has a cracking lineup to keep you entertained this April.

An Evening With Herman's Hermits - Sat 9 Apr, 7.30pm
Herman's Hermits were one of the biggest-selling bands of the 1960s, not just in the UK but around the world.
From their early beginnings in Manchester in 1964, the band have chalked up 23 hit singles, 10 hit albums, appeared in three major movies and, to date, they have sold in excess of 75 million records worldwide.
Rolling Back The 60s sees Herman's Hermits embarking on their solo tour. An evening of nostalgia, song and laughter as they bring all of their hits to life plus video of the group through the years.

A free lunchtime lecture by Bishop's Stortford Museum volunteer and researcher Steve Vincent.
The ancient ruins of Egypt have drawn on the imagination of many and the collectable objects from its past civilization have allowed for a more personal appreciation. The desire for objects has fluctuated over the last 250 years, but at times of peak demand, items have been manufactured to satisfy it.
On the back of a potted history of Egypt, take a look at the collectable items that have come out of Egypt, be they original, Victorian fakes or Victorian and early 20th-century decorative pieces. Booking essential.
