Bishop's Stortford Art Society exhibition in Jackson Square shopping centre

Bishop's Stortford Art Society's first exhibition in the town centre for two years starts next week.

Its five-day Autumn Exhibition is being held in the Community Space, next to Wilko, in the Jackson Square shopping centre from 9am to 5pm each day from Tuesday to Saturday (August 10-14).

The society held three online exhibitions during lockdown, but this will be the first chance for people to see members' artwork in 'real life' since August 2019.

A Bit Like Portofino by Eileen Valder, acrylic, 50x50cm canvas, £50

There will be up to 100 works on display, including watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels, across a variety of subjects, so there should be something to appeal to all tastes and budgets.

The society is offering free membership to anyone over 18 until April 2022. Email bsasmembers@outlook.com to apply.
