Frozen Jr by Bishop’s Stortford Academy of Performing Arts at South Mill Arts
Audiences were enchanted by spellbinding performances of Frozen Jr by the Bishop’s Stortford Academy of Performing Arts (BSAPA) at South Mill Arts on Saturday and Sunday (April 13-14).
The talents of these 7- to 12-year-olds were truly magical. Their confidence on stage was remarkable, especially considering that for some this was their first foray into the world of theatre. The joy they exuded while performing was palpable, a testament to their dedication and hard work.
The enchanting modern classic from Disney is based on the 2018 Broadway and West End musical, and brings Elsa, Anna and the magical land of Arendelle to life on stage. The show featured all of the memorable songs from the animated film.
Eva Crane brought snowman Olaf to life with infectious humour, eliciting laughter from the audience with each endearing, goofy gesture.
It’s remarkable to note that Anastasia Guitton, in her debut performance, delivered a flawless portrayal of Anna, capturing the essence of the character from the opening scene to the final curtain call. Her performance was nothing short of outstanding.
Looking ahead, the announcement of Aladdin as BSAPA’s next production fills us with anticipation.
