The award-winning Ferio Saxophone Quartet will be performing a wide range of pieces at next month's music@stansted concert.

The exciting young group's programme will include the likes of Bach's Sheep May Safely Graze and Bernstein's West Side Story as well as Handel's Water Music and Bizet's Carmen when they take to the stage at St John's Church in Stansted on Saturday April 9.

The quartet - from soprano to baritone - consistently receive a highly enthusiastic reception from audiences and critics alike having performed at the likes of Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Conway Hall, Cambridge Summer Festival and the Three Choirs Festival.

The concert is a great opportunity to get to hear just what the saxophone can do – especially for any budding young saxophonists who can take advantage of the free-entry policy for under-18s.

Adult and concession tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced at £15 and £12 respectively. They can be bought on the door or in advance from the Indie office at 12 North Street, Bishop's Stortford CM23 2LQ.
