Meet the cast of 2024 South Mill Arts pantomime Robin Hood

Talented actors who have graced stages in the West End and across the world are on target to wow South Mill Arts audiences this Christmas in pantomime Robin Hood.

The all-singing, all-dancing show runs at the Bishop’s Stortford venue from December 7 to January 4.

And the stars of the production, which is being brought to the South Road complex by the company behind previous hits Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk, are ready to make the festive season go with a bang.

Daniel Slade has been brushing up on his bow and arrow skills as he takes on the lead role of Robin Hood.

He has toured Europe as lead vocalist in Somebody to Love: The Queen Concert and internationally in Viva Voce.

Daniel, who has also turned his hand to opera, is no stranger to panto having starred in almost every title you can think of.

It will be a family affair as Daniel’s brother Matt Slade is taking on his first professional panto role by portraying Will Scarlet.

He graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts last year and has performed in the likes of Made in Dagenham and The Little Mermaid.

South Mill Arts favourite Etta Williams is back to take on the role of Maid Marian.

Having trained at the prestigious London College of Music, she has impressed audiences across the country with her incredible vocals.

Etta took the title role in last year’s Cinderella in Stortford and has toured the UK in the stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s children’s tale Zog.

Be sure to boo and hiss baddie the Sheriff of Nottingham, who will be brought to life by Nathan French.

The recent graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland was in town earlier this year for Once Upon a Time!

Nathan is also a talented musician and earned a RCS Trust scholarship as well as graduating from BRIT School.

Little Joan is being played by Megan Crawford, who trained at The Musical Theatre Academy and The Performance Preparation Academy.

She has featured in a string of theatre productions as well being a featured dancer on Channel 4’s The Last Leg.

Last but not least, Tommy Pegg is back on dry land to be Dame Mother Hood.

He has recently returned from the high seas having been lead vocalist on two of AIDA Cruises’ premier ships.

Tommy has a wealth of theatre credits to his name - even playing the dastardly Sheriff in Robin Hood.
