Buy some arty crackers in Bishop's Stortford Art Society's online Christmas exhibition
Bishop's Stortford Art Society members might not be able to hold their traditional Christmas art exhibition in the town this year, but it has not stopped them from producing some outstanding work.
If you're looking for a unique present for a loved one, or to treat yourself to a splash of creativity in your home, they have some crackers to choose from on their website. So, grab a mince pie, something to drink and feast your eyes on their artworks.
To view the 70-plus works by 25 artists for sale in the society's 85th Christmas exhibition, go to www.stortfordartsociety.co.uk/exhibition-nov-2020. Prices range from £15 to £875.
Art society members are all art lovers and enjoy using a variety of mediums, from watercolour to oils, acrylics and mixed media, to pencils and pouring, to create unique images.
And you can join them for free on Facebook by searching for Bishop's Stortford Art Society. There you can post your own paintings and see more work by artists.
If you would like to join a friendly group of creatives – the joining fee of £20 a year has been suspended until April 2021, when they hope to restart their programme of events – get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
