Live music, beers and family activities at bank holiday weekend CammasFest at Cammas Hall Farm

Enjoy live music, great beers and a whole load of family fun at this bank holiday weekend’s inaugural CammasFest.

The three-day festival is taking place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (August 26-28) at Cammas Hall Farm in Hatfield Broad Oak.

The award-winning, family-run farm has been holding successful beer festivals since 2019 and is now serving up an expanded summer event, full to the brim with fun activities for guests of all ages.

A wide selection of drinks will be served from the beer tent and the small but perfectly formed pub The Basket of Fruit. Choose from beers on tap, cask ales, cider, wine, cocktails, Pimm’s and a selection of soft drinks.

As always there is a local flavour to the beer menu with the Bishop Nick, Buntingford, New River and Colchester breweries doing the honours.

The drinks can be sampled while listening to a line-up of local musicians and bands performing indie and rock classics to pop hits and 80s anthems.

Anna Wells, Hedgehog, Hrry Oliver and The Real McKoys take to the stage on Saturday while the Sunday performers are Emilios Souris, The Astorias, Lucy Wild and Ultimate 80s. And Repertoire Dogs and Racoon The Band will provide Monday’s soundtrack.

Included in the ticket price are fun sessions being run by a children’s entertainer who will be keeping younger guests amused. Kids can play party games, do magic and dance at their own disco.

There will also be a face painter on site (at an additional cost) for those children or grown-ups who want the full festival look while the play area and sandpits will also be available.

And food from the barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven will help to keep everyone’s energy levels up.
