Manor Fields' summer fayre is back in Bishop's Stortford on Sunday (July 3).

The Thorley Park primary school in Penningtons will host three hours of traditional fun from noon, with a 30-minute preview slot for families of children with special needs from 11.30am.

The activities and entertainment on offer include a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting and the chance to explore a fire engine.

For sporty visitors, there is an opportunity to take part in archery and a penalty shoot-out, provided respectively by Kitteridge Multi Sports Club and Thorley Manor Football Club.

There will be performances from cheerleaders, the school dance group and the choir.

Sideshows include hook a duck, water or wine, pick a lolly, tombola, lucky dip, soak a teacher and a coconut shy.

There will be a range of stalls selling handmade crafts and charity gifts as well as a choice of refreshments including Mexican food and a Pimm's bar.

To minimise queues, Manor Fields School Association has set up an online link to buy wristbands and games tokens in advance. See https://www.pta-events.co.uk/mfsa/index.cfm?event=event&eventId=50554#.YrRQoHbMLrc
